Varför censurerar Facebook en kort bokrecension om statskuppen i
Bolivia nästan ett år efter nedanstående FB-publicering?
TEGUCIGALPA / 2020-09-21 / I dag fick jag två
meddelanden från Facebook men med samma innehåll och tema: Posten jag gjorde
den 21 september 2020 i FB-gruppen ”Latinamerikaintresserade”. FB betraktar den
som ”Spam”. FB ansåg tydligen att jag hade brutit mot regler som ska tillämpas ”för
att förhindra sådan som falska annonser, bedrägerier och säkerhetsintrång”.
Viktiga regler.
Men som knappast kan tillämpas på nedanstående avisering om
boken av Hugo Moldiz Mercado, en boliviansk veteran i den politiska
kampen och en av Latinamerikas främsta vänsterintellektuella.
Jag stötte ihop med honom inför 10-årsminnet av den militära
statskuppen i Honduras i juni 2019 då han anlände till Tegucigalpa. Då återstod
det drygt fyra månader innan statskuppen i Bolivia skulle verkställas, av samma
kretsar som i Honduras 2009 och med samma uppdragsgivare.
Hugo Moldiz tvingades, i likhet med ett tiotal ministrar och
ledande personer från det socialistiska MAS-partiet att ta sig in på den
mexikanska ambassaden i La Paz, helt enkelt för att rädda livet när
bajonetternas uniformerade herrar och damer slog till den 10 november 2019.
Moldiz skrev samman sina erfarenheter från de 14 år av MAS- och
Evo Morales-styre, en enorm värdefull och rik källa för alla historiker och den
som vill sätta sig in i den bolivianska politiska kampen och det andinska och
tropiska land som ligger mitt i Sydamerika.
Varför blev det i FB-gruppen ”Latinamerikaintresserade” som
censuren slog till och inte i de tre andra grupperna som jag är med i och där
jag också publicerade? Kan det bero på att en venezuelansk ”escualido” (kuppanhängare)
administrerar gruppen? Det är frågan jag ställt mig i dag. Men det är inte
första gången det har hänt.

Fyra veckor innan det
kuppförberedda valet den 18 oktober 2020 i Bolivia, kommer här en bok av
bolivianen Hugo Moldiz Mercado, en av Latinamerikas mest främste
skriftställare och vänsterintellektuella. Förordet är också skrivet av en av
Latinamerikas främsta vänsterintellektuella, argentinaren Atilio Boron.
I förordet räknar
Boron upp tre kardinalfel som begicks och hur statskuppen mot president Evo
Morales´ regering kunde ha undvikits:
1.
Den naiva tron att de Amerikanska Staternas Organisation, OAS
och dess skamlöse generalsekreterare och drängen till Vita Huset, Luis Almagro,
skulle inta en neutral ståndpunkt i valet förra året.
2.
Att vara så naiva att tro att inta en relativ politisk kall
attityd eller försiktigt avlägsnande eller avstånd mot Kuba eller Venezuela
skulle övertyga Washington att inte lägga sig i den bolivianska valprocessen
eller låta Evo Morales att fortsätta regera.
3.
Att presidenten och hela hans regering och ministrar skulle lita
på lojaliteten hos de väpnade styrkorna och den nationella polisen när det var
mer än uppenbart att det verkliga uniformerade högkvarteret återfanns i
Washington.
DE BITTRA BOLIVIANSKA
ERFARENHETERNA, som applåderades av deras kontrarevolutionära supportrar hos Trumps
allierade i högeroppositionen i Nicaragua, Venezuela och Kuba bör tjäna som
lärdomar inför kommande konfrontationer med imperialismen och dess Pitiyankies
i världen.

Evo Morales”, the book by Hugo Moldiz.

”Dedicated
to the dead of Sacaba and Senkata” is the book that Hugo
Moldiz Mercado (La Paz, 1964) gives us by the hand of Ocean Sur . Coordinator
of the Bolivian Chapter of the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense
of Humanity and Minister of Government during the third term of Evo Morales in
2015, Moldiz is one of the most prestigious leftist intellectuals in Latin
America, author of numerous texts that in years Recent events have served to
shed light on the processes of change experienced by the region since the end
of the last century, as described in the excellent foreword by Atilio Borón.
As its title tells us, and the author
suggests, the book seeks to expose the theoretical-practical reasons why we can
affirm that in Bolivia there was a coup d'état on November 10 of last year, and
reveal the main characteristics of nature The fascist government of the current
government: authoritarian and repressive, which initially relied on a broad
urban mass movement (of the petty bourgeoisie and backward sectors of the
popular camp) and which now, with less support, continues to prioritize
repression and encourage the actions of shock groups (paramilitaries) that move
protected by the police and military forces.
It was also the intention of Moldiz to
contribute some elements of critical reading of the mistakes made by the
government of Evo Morales and the social movements themselves that ended up
being the material and subjective basis on which the destabilization of the
deepest political process in history was mounted. from Bolivia.
Undoubtedly, a good material for
reflection on the moments that Latin America is experiencing and the challenges
for all the revolutionary and progressive movements in the region, none of
which escapes the incisive gaze and the bleeding grip of North American
imperialism. Precisely Atilio Borón in his initial comments affirms that
the book adequately illustrates the determining role of North American
imperialism in the progressive weakening of the mass government, especially
once the “heroic stage” of the Change Process was completed in 2010.
Borón mentions some mistakes made and the
idea that the coup could have been avoided. We stand out for their
importance and the experience that we must extract from them, taking into
account their applicability to other processes in the region, the following:
1- Believe that the OAS and the scoundrel
who serves as its secretary general, Luis Almagro, would be neutral in the
future electoral contest.
2- To think that a policy of relative
cooling with —or cautious distancing from— Cuba and Venezuela would convince
Washington's thugs not to meddle in the Bolivian political process and let Evo
Morales continue to govern.
3-Make the security of the president and
his government team, his vice president and his ministers rest, in the loyalty
of the armed forces and the police, when it was more than evident that both
those like this had their true command in Washington and not in Peace.
”Bolivia synthesizes the tragic history of
Latin America”, says the author as an epilogue. The government of the
United States, which sees its great power hegemony threatened as never before,
insists on its monroist and
colonizing vision , does not cease in its destabilizing plans, in its
shameless battle to seize the economic resources of Latin America and as
the Ché, in
”erasing every last image of a revolutionary, or a supporter of a regime that
has fallen under his boot.”
In the pursuit of these claims, they
continue, like a Trojan horse, to feed internal opposition and
counterrevolutions that they try to put into power, whether through coups,
legal and parliamentary actions, and even by physically eliminating
presidents. Fearing another “progressive wave”, the gringo guns are
heading towards Argentina, Bolivia and Ecuador while the frontal war against
Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua continues.

Golpe de Estado en Bolivia, la soledad de Evo
Morales”, el libro de Hugo Moldiz.

”Dedicado a los muertos de Sacaba y Senkata” es
el libro que nos regala Hugo Moldiz Mercado (La Paz, 1964) de la mano de Ocean
Sur. Coordinador del Capítulo Boliviano de la Red de
Intelectuales y Artistas en Defensa de la Humanidad y ministro de Gobierno
durante el tercer mandato de Evo Morales en 2015, Moldiz es uno de los más
prestigiosos intelectuales de izquierda de Latinoamérica, autor de numerosos
textos que en años recientes han servido para arrojar luz sobre los procesos de
cambio experimentados por la región desde finales del siglo pasado, tal como lo
describe el excelente prólogo de Atilio Borón.
Como nos avisa su título, y nos plantea
el autor, el libro busca exponer las razones teórico-prácticas de por qué
podemos afirmar que en Bolivia hubo un golpe de Estado el 10 de noviembre del
pasado año, y develar las principales características de la naturaleza
fascistoide del actual gobierno: autoritario y represivo, que en un inicio se
apoyó en un amplio movimiento de masas urbanas (de pequeña burguesía y sectores
atrasados del campo popular) y que ahora, con menos respaldo, continúa
priorizando la represión y alentando el accionar de grupos de choque
(paramilitares) que se mueven protegidos por las fuerzas policiales y
militares.
También fue la intención de Moldiz
aportar algunos elementos de lectura crítica de los errores cometidos por el
gobierno de Evo Morales y los propios movimientos sociales que terminaron
siendo la base material y subjetiva sobre la que se montó la desestabilización
del proceso político más profundo de la historia de Bolivia.
Sin dudas un buen material para la
reflexión sobre los momentos que vive América Latina y los retos para todos los
movimientos revolucionarios y progresistas de la región, ninguno de los cuales
escapa a la mirada incisiva y la garra sangrante del imperialismo
norteamericano. Precisamente Atilio Borón en sus comentarios iniciales afirma
que el libro ilustra con idoneidad el papel determinante del imperialismo
norteamericano en el progresivo debilitamiento del gobierno masista, sobre todo
una vez culminado, en el 2010, la «etapa heroica» del Proceso de Cambios.
Se mencionan por Borón algunos errores
cometidos y la idea de que pudo evitarse el golpe de Estado. Destacamos por su
importancia y la experiencia que debemos extraer de ellos, teniendo en cuenta
su aplicabilidad a otros procesos en la región, los siguientes:
1- Creer que la OEA y el sinvergüenza
que funge como su secretario general, Luis Almagro, irían a ser neutrales en la
futura contienda electoral.
2- Pensar que una política de relativo
enfriamiento con, o cauteloso distanciamiento de, Cuba y Venezuela convencería
a los hampones de Washington de no entrometerse en el proceso político
boliviano y dejar que Evo Morales siguiera gobernando.
3- Hacer reposar la seguridad del presidente
y su equipo de gobierno, su vicepresidente y sus ministros, en la lealtad de
las fuerzas armadas y la policía, cuando era más que evidente que tanto
aquellas como esta tenían su comando verdadero en Washington y no en La Paz.
”Bolivia sintetiza la trágica historia
de América Latina”, reza el autor a modo de epílogo. El gobierno de los Estados
Unidos, que ve amenazada como nunca antes su hegemonía de gran potencia,
insiste en su visión monroista y colonizadora, no cesa
en sus planes desestabilizadores, en su batalla descarada por apoderarse de los
recursos económicos de latinoamérica y como dijo el Ché, en
”borrar hasta la última imagen de un revolucionario, o un partidario de un
régimen que haya caído bajo su bota”.
En la búsqueda de estas pretensiones,
continúan cual caballo de Troya alimentando a oposiciones y contrarrevoluciones
internas a las que intentan poner en el poder, ya sea a través de golpes de
Estado, acciones legales, parlamentarias e incluso mediante la eliminación
física de presidentes. Con el temor de otra ”ola progresista”, se enfilan los
cañones gringos hacia Argentina, Bolivia y Ecuador en tanto se mantiene la
guerra frontal contra Cuba, Venezuela y Nicaragua.

echar luces sobre el caso boliviano y aportar así a las luchas latinoamericanas
